Field notes
Recovered feeds — Vol. 1
The control room was sealed years ago. Nobody switched the monitors off.
These frames were pulled from what was left of the facility's surveillance system: banks of green screens still glowing over empty consoles, warning lights blinking for no one, corridors recorded through mesh and static. The cameras kept watching. The tape kept degrading.
Vol. 1 is the first set of visual records from the IXORAY archive — the same atmosphere as the one-hour transmissions, made still and shaped for the screen you carry everywhere.
Signal degraded — on purpose
These are not clean, sharpened renders. The low resolution, scanlines, grain and colour bleed are part of the image: they are meant to look like a feed recovered from failing equipment. On a modern phone they appear soft and textured, like an old monitor seen up close.
